Final dissemination event highlights ETERNAL's key results and celebrates success

ETERNAL's recent final official project dissemination event provided project partners and external guests alike an opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate notable progress made during four years of collaborative research and scale-up for sustainable development of pharmaceutical manufacture, use and disposal, along with notable contributions towards building the the EU’s knowledge base informing environmental risk and ecotoxicity assessemts of pharamceuticals on the one hand and policy development on the other.

ETERNAL's latest white paper publication provides an evaluation of how to embed early-stage thinking about safety and sustainability in process (re)design as applied to an industrial case study involving five different options for re-engineering acetone from water solvent recovery in part of a commercial API manufacturing process.

Industrial case study summaries available now

The ETERNAL Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action has just made seven industrial case study summaries publically available. The easily-read two-page documents provide a concise summary of the key features, progress to date, and further steps involved as several of the project's applied research efforts start to yield fruit in an at or near industrial ready state.
