We are excited to share the news that ETERNAL's "remarkable contribution to standardization through the development of two CWAs" has been recognised by a nomination in the Project Award category for the Standards+Innovation Awards 2026.

The Standards+Innovation Awards are an initiative organized by CEN, the European Committee for Standardization, to acknowledge the valuable contributions of research and innovation to standardization. The awards aim to highlight the efforts of researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs in advancing standardization through their work. The 2026 edition of the Standards+Innovation award will be the 8th celebration of the contribution of research to standardization with a dedicated award ceremony taking place later in the year.

Among the award categories, there is one dedicated to the Project Award, which is given annually to a European research or innovation project (H2020 / Horizon Europe) that has made a significant contribution to standardization. ETERNAL partner UNE has considered it relevant to nominate the ETERNAL project as a candidate in this category, given its remarkable contribution to standardization through the development of two Collaborative Workshop Agreements (CWAs).
