Prioritising change in the pharmaceuticals value chain

One of the key words in the ETERNAL project is “co-creation”. Whether our innovators, researchers and industrialists are seeking to deliver smarter, cleaner, and more efficient manufacturing processes, or to generate new scientific knowledge on the impacts of pharmaceutical manufacturer, use and disposal, or to help prescribers and users of medicines know what part they can play in a better future, we recognise that we are just part of a bigger picture - and that together we are stronger.

ETERNAL is actively seeking to reach out to people working right across the pharmaceutical value chain from drug development and design, through manufacture, distribution, healthcare, disposal and public utilities to understand where we can prioritise action promoting change for sustainable healthcare. You can help by sharing your views in our

Short Stakeholder Survey

On October 24th and 25th, we will be out in force at CPHI Barcelona, Europe’s premier gathering of pharma professionals featuring 1800+ exhibitors representing all areas of the pharma supply chain and two days of conferences covering eight key industry topics.

As well as the four ETERNAL partners who will be displaying in the FIRA Barcelona’s extensive exhibition halls*, our brightly-clad project representatives will be working across the event to raise awareness of ETERNAL’s programme of industry-application focused research and ‘Change Labs’ with delegates from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible and encouraging them to share their perspectives on where we should prioritise our efforts.

Change Labs are dissemination, engagement, and knowledge sharing activities and pilots for (a) Business, (b) Policy Makers / Regulators, (c) Healthcare Practitioners, and (d) the General Public, which we will be rolling out in the second half of ETERNAL’s four-year programme. Whilst we have some ideas of our own, we are keen to hear from anyone with a view to share on what changes in behaviour, thinking and practice these interventions should promote and why, and will be capturing stakeholder views by guiding attendees though a five-minute online survey.
